Fun course to play and challenging. Play the correct set of tees based on your ability and you will have fun. The course was in good shape in all aspects,used to have GPS but now at least they leave you a book inside the cart with helpful tips for the first or second timer.

Fairways are various colors, it is winter even in So. California. Have not played here for over ten years, re-visited and it is still very challenging. Greens were lightning fast and still lots of challenges. Give it a try. Wonderful pace of play.

My threesome plays HV once a month. We love it, the only exception being 15 fairway has been cart path only for too many years now. And now fourteen and eighteen have been added to the cartpath only list. Watch ou for Dos Logos and their $29.00 senior price.

I'm not sure on what criteria this course gets it's awards that it's been touting lately. It's an average track at best and the conditions are noting to write home about. I guess maybe that they actually can get grass to grow here is impressive??? The back 9 seems to be in slightly better shape than the front. Some holes on the front 9 are confining and crammed together. Others are too hilly. The views of the surrounding area are impressive though. All in all, an average track at best and not one I would run out and play right away because I saw they won an award.

Wonderful afternoon. A tough first time course because of the layout. I am looking forward to the next time when I have a better idea of the layout. The Tee are varied enough for me to enjoy a chalenge and my wife to enjoy the afternoon. The staff was great! They sent me out as a single on the back 9 at 1:15 and I was done with 18 in less than three hours! Granted it was a blustery day so not too many were out.

This course will keep you honest..ONE OF THE MOST DRAMATIC ELEVATION CHANGES IN THE AREA...SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL..IF NOT A GOLF COURSE, IT WOULD BE A GREAT SETTING FOR Man vs Wild. Prefer this course over OAK QUARRY...and that takes a lot of doing.

This course was just named the 2010 Public Golf course of the year for California by the California Golf Course Owners Association, so you can imagine why it is a great course and one hell of a value. The greens have to some of the best public golf course greens in the state, fairways are plush, tee boxes level and nice, rough is about 2.5" and plush, about 20% of the bunkers need just a hair more sand. You must play it, make sure you choose the correct set of tees for your ability and you will have a blast.

Hidden Valley is a beautiful course in the hills of Norco, with fabulous views. It is in excellent condition, and while somewhat challenging, will make you a better golfer! GPS is on the carts, and they have a wonderful restaurant there as well. The price is simply unbeatable for a course like this!

Used to be a great course. seems like it has been neglected over the last 5 years or so. The layout is excellent and very challenging. Overpriced for the level of care put into this course. Requires sand in bunkers and better care of the fairways and greens. No more GPS carts and no makings on fairway.

Great course, Sand traps ok, some bad spots in the fair ways due to drought in so cal but most courses are that way right now.
